December 11th — Eve before the race
Big delicious snow flakes have been falling all day and it feels like Christmas in Davos, Switzerland. This is one of my favorites spots on the tour- for two reasons. I won my first distance medal here before the Torino, Olympics. Second, it feels like home. My favorite coffee shop is here and the Canadian team has been staying in the same hotel in Davos since cross country skiing was invented. I'm excited to race the World Cup 10 km skate tomorrow.
