We as Albertans can be proud of these musicians of ours. Hats off to all of you. I think that Michael Bernard Fitzgerald's song lyrics exempify what we all feel in our hearts and what we want the world to know. Alberta is our home! Way to go Michael on giving me "goosies".

Wow. What amazing songs. Love Rebecca's haunting voice. Love John Wort Hannam's traditional Alberta sound. Love Jon Gant's modernized take on the Alberta sound. Michael Fitgerald's song is pretty darn catchy. Tough choices for the judges. Can't wait to hear the winner.

A great group of songs and songwriters. Our province has some amazing talent. Gotta give my vote to Jon Gant for writing a very genuine and original song that touched my heart. I look forward to hearing more from him.

I entered this contest, and I am absolutely humbled after hearing the finalists! I think MBF has the Alberta-hook down, and should win. Two best songs (in my opinion) are Rebecca's and April/Gavin's - Really hit somn special here. Wow!
