With more golfers and golf courses per capita than anywhere else in North America, Alberta loves The Grand Game. One of the ways ATB shows the love is through its sponsorship of the Canadian Tour, a top-notch developmental loop that has seen alumni like Mike Weir, Stephen Ames, Steve Stricker and Chris DiMarco go on to win 98 PGA tour titles and more than $36 million.
ATB has been a title sponsor of a Canadian Tour stop since 2007, and will continue the tradition in Alberta through 2012. That’s three more years of memories, like seeing hometown boy Dustin Risdon birdie the playoff hole at Cottonwood to win in 2008, and rising star Graham DeLaet fire a bogey-free 64 to claim the ATB Financial Classic at Sirocco in 2009.
