ATB is honoured to sponsor Codey McCurrach’s chuckwagon as he emerges as a leader on the racing scene.
April 30 marks the one-year anniversary of the wildfires that swept through Fort McMurray. Thousands of families were displaced from their homes and many businesses were burnt to the ground. Plenty of rebuilding has occurred, but scars in the community and in hearts of residents still remain.
To mark the anniversary and to celebrate Alberta’s strong community bonds, ATB Financial’s 2016 All-Albertan Song Contest winner, 100 Mile House will be performing a free concert in the Pehonan Theatre located in the Edmonton Federal Building (Main floor, 9820-107 Street).
This free concert is a ticketed event. Registration and tickets can be found using the following link.
The band’s winning track in last year’s contest was titled “Run”. It’s an emotional, heartfelt folk track about a family’s experience as they packed up and left Fort McMurray while the city went up in flames. “Run” was selected by a panel of judges as the top song in a year when ATB received a total of 166 entries.
