February 22, 2017, was Pink Shirt Day.
ATB invited our team members, customers, and all Albertans to lead the charge against bullying by wearing pink.
Pink Shirt Day began as a small but powerful act in Nova Scotia when, after seeing a classmate bullied for wearing a pink shirt, a group of students decided to wear pink to take a stand against bullying. Today, it is a show of support for anti-bullying initiatives around the world, raising awareness about bullying and the tactics each of us can use to stop it.
